The UNC Bands are proud to announce that our new MTHVolunteers program is fully operational and has proven to be a great success for all impacted by the program.
Austin Seamster (’18) and Adam Sheinhaus (’18) founded MTHVolunteers in 2017 to offer members of the Marching Tar Heels the opportunity to provide distinct, direct public service to local organizations which support others in the community. MTHVolunteers have provided service to the Ronald McDonald House, Habitat for Humanity, Community Garden, Table, and other community groups already this academic year.
Megan Abernathy and Amanda Geiger will be taking over as program coordinators for 2018-19 and are excited to maintain and expand that which Adam and Austin have started. For more information about the program, visit mthvolunteers.web.unc.edu.
