2024-2025 UNC Bands Membership Interest Form

There is a spot for all Carolina students who play woodwind, brass and percussion instruments, as well as those involved in guard activities, in the UNC Bands and these students are encouraged to get involved in our program.

Being part of a college band is very different than being involved in high school bands.  We spend less time in rehearsal, perform more, and learn much quicker.  And, everyone involved wants to be there so there are very few motivation issues.  Everyone involved is doing so to fulfill a musical and/or social need and working together, we have some amazing experiences.

If you are a new student to the University and want to learn more about the UNC Bands complete and submit the form below.  This will allow us to stay in touch with you regarding participation.  Be sure to stop by the UNC Bands table at the Information Fair when you are on campus for Orientation so we can make sure you have all the material you need for membership.
